The Acadia Centre for Social and Business Entrepreneurship is committed to the development of SMEs by assisting them to achieve success through the development of their entrepreneurial skills. ACSBE is extremely motivated to develop and grow our international programming, as we see this as a natural evolution of our vision:

We believe that we have a unique approach to entrepreneurial development, which recognizes that a good business decision must also be a good personal decision. Our approach to international activities is to collaborate with like minded organizations that value the creation of an entrepreneurial community and seek to establish strong and vibrant micro and small business sectors. Our international focus is to build the service delivery capacity of individuals, economic development organizations and educational institutions.

Business Development Centers

The creation of Business Development Centers has been a corner stone in the development of strong SME sectors throughout the world. They provide unique programming designed to enhance the creation, retention, and growth of small businesses and community entrepreneurial capacity. ACSBE is an internationally recognized business development centre with leading edge programming designed to develop an entrepreneurial environment and establish a vibrant small business community. ACSBE can provide strategies, methodologies, tools and techniques needed to establish and manage a business development centre.  

Community Entrepreneurial Development  

The creation of a vibrant small business sector does not occur entirely through the provision of a business development program, but rather through a strong and active SME, voluntary, and community based entrepreneurial development sector. ACSBE has been very successful in developing programming that changes attitudes, perceptions and behaviors with regards to entrepreneurship. It is our belief that it is critical for the community to view self employment as a viable and desired career option especially youth. ACSBE strives to develop program for a wide cross section including educational institution, large corporations or governmental organizations, and the community at large. By assistinf individuals to act and think more entrepreneurial they can compete, succeed and contribute to a better world.
