ACSBE Welcomes New Career Counsellor

ACSBE is pleased to announce that Carrie Ernst has joined our delivery team in Hubbards in the position of Career Counsellor. As one of ACSBE’s career development facilitators, Carrie’s work focuses on helping people make informed career decisions through one-on-one career counselling, workshops, and group programming.
Carrie brings with her a whole host of experiences. She has been involved in the field of career development for the past 15 years, including holding the position of Executive Director of the New Waterford Employment Resource Centre. This was a role that kept her in touch with clients, working directly with them to determine their career goals and to secure employment.
Carrie brings lots of skills to the table and also has professional development training in case management & needs determination, a PLAR Practitioner Certificate, as well as Career & Work/Life Development Training and Job Finding Club Facilitation. She has also earned a Business Technology Diploma at the Canadian Career Alternatives Training in Bridgewater, a Diploma in Adult Education from St Francis Xavier University, and a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting and Marketing from Saint Mary’s University and a Tourism Management Diploma from NSCC-Lunenburg Campus.
